Default Speaking of things I haven't been able to fix...
Okay, I lied in a previous post. Actually, there is another glitch I haven't been able to figure out.

In one of my houses, the main area absolutely trashes the Environment score. This is true only of that space, all the rooms have the correct Environmental impacts.

The main area had a lot of expensive decor, much of which was lost in my crash. It left artefacts in place, for which I scoured the house and removed them, so that only stuff that exists is showing in the room. But the Environment score, which should be maxed out, is virtually nil. Something is causing it to tank, but there is no visible culprit.

This is a bit problematic, since it is the main room, and the Sims spend a lot of time there.

Not sure how I can hunt down the problem and fix it. Do I need to use the Lot Debugger or the Lot Cleaner (or both), and can I use them on occupied lots?

If you use the light bamboo flooring, unless you have a fix it will tank the environment score. There is also a glitch where sometimes a wall section can cause a reduced environment score- I notice it if I'm modifying room sizes a lot. To Test this you can delete and rebuild the walls. Other than that, yes you can use the lot cleaner on an occupied lot (save, exit and reload the lot before playing), and stuck object remover from MATY will help with anything invisible on a tile.

Yes this problem sometimes happens, quite often if diagonal walls are used. It may be necessary to demolish only one wall piece and restore it, or more. Charles Object Editor will report normal trash objects that impact score sorted from the highest. Select one room. To delete an object that can't be picked up, select it using one of the filters, and choose remove object instance.

If you have a large room, you can start by dividing into parts using a low wall. Usually only one of the smaller parts will have poor environment and this will reduce the search area.

It'll be the light bamboo flooring! Luckily there is a fix for it somewhere...

Or just change the flooring.

That's the one, thanks Charity! Definitely worth getting I think! That's my favourite flooring in the whole game!

OMG! I'd forgotten about the light bamboo floor curse!
