Today I played Sims 4 all day, creating families, houses, controlling characters... It was interesting at first, but then it got boring. It's always the same actions, and even the new additions don't help. I don't know what to do with myself anymore.

Try Sims 1, 2 or 3- they are all still thriving, and generally happy places (since there are no more updates, and decades of custom content to play with).

In my opinion, about the only way to get out of the same o rut when playing TS4 is to play it with game-changing mods such as the various Sacrificial's mods or Basemental's mods (and there are others). These mods offer enough "variations" in gameplay to make things "interesting" without the same o' same o; every time.

I've uninstalled the Sims 4, can't deal with the bugs and glitches anymore

I have been playing 4 a lot lately and yes I know the issues. But I am enjoying it a lot. I have gotten more EPs. One issue for me is the limited number of lots and I love to build, and there are not that many places for the sims to go. And of course the same other sims show up all the time.

Agreeing with you guys here. Sims 3 is beckoning me back

The towns had everything in one place and if you felt like trying another type of lot you could all hop in the Jaguar SUV and roar across town!

Do that in Sims 4 and it will freeze on one of the (many) loading screens so you have to force quit and reload the game. Frustrating.

Basically I just build in Sims 4 now because the of the limited (and bugged) game-play.

Am lucky I guess as my game is not buggy. It is a bit slower to load and save at times as I have so much, but I do not have any crashes or bugs really. I am playing on a laptop now but a pretty darn good one even though an older one now. I love 3 but that is on my PC which I am not using now so am playing 4 on this. This is not a site to be at all positive about 4, but it is a very playable game, at least to me, in limited doses.
