This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default My game looks terrible
I don't know what's happening but my game looks really bad all of a sudden. Everything looks blocky and chunky, like it's too zoomed in and the UI looks way too big.

I did use Graphics Rule Maker (I was experiencing pink flashing) but I checked and everything is set to the highest possible quality.

It looks so bad, it didn't use to look like this and it's almost unplayable...

Thank you.

Did you make sure the GRM changes were saved properly? If your game is installed in Program Files, Windows could be write-protecting the GraphicRules file from editing. You think you've saved the file, but Windows isn't accepting the changes, and also doesn't warn you.

To get around this, the easiest way is to save the edited file to the desktop, then replace it manually.

Thank you both! After double and triple checking the graphics rules, running GRM again... it turns out my in-game settings were reset somehow so I just had to change them. D'oh!
