So, I saw this thread, the world looked fun, so I downloaded and installed. It seems to have broken my game. I have switched to every save series that I have, and am not able to click on a Sim. I can click on any object, building in city view, etc. But I cannot click on a Sim, even the active can't click on herself.

I tried removing the world, but being all disc and not using the launcher, I'm not sure if I got it out fully.

Any ideas what to do???

It seems that flushing the inventory, or going through your mods, re-adding them in groups might be a good start with troubleshooting. There must be a file left over, or a broken item.

Thanks for looking. So far, it's a mess. Whatever happened seems to have fubar'd the entire game. It's every save that's broken, not just the last of that series, and every Sim. I went to city hall and deleted the inventory of every Sim, including my household, then deleted the household build/buy inventory, saved and restarted, and nothing. I then removed the entire mods folder, library and dccache, and tried starting a new game in Sunset Valley, and it crashed! Might be something I did? I can already see that this is going to be a total reload. And a few Black Russians!!!

I'd make a backup of your game after the fresh reinstall.

Ooh nooo, I wonder what happened? Did you test with a freshly generated userdata folder? If that doesn't work, then that sounds like installation corruption rather that a problem with that download.

User data folder? You mean the main folder? If yes, not enough space on this 256 SSD to copy everything. Anyway, my family was in Oasis Landing when all this happened. Try to return home... CTD. Try to travel to another world, CTD. Switched households, and same issue that can't click on a Sim.

New game in Sunset Valley, and chose Goth family... can't click on a Sim. Soooo.... first trying to remove only Sims 3, and reinstall. I have absolutely no clue what happened or why.
