This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Pond is a deep hole
After downloading Voeille's Pond & Sea Water Overhaul,my ponds' lot imposters became deep and Grey holes, looks terrible. At first,I thought it's the cost of having this water. However,I found nobody talk about it,then I noticed this paper on the page of this mod, there's a good pond in hood mode,so it's possible to have normal water .In my memory, this happened before I getting mm lighting and other mods similar,I can't understand.

You need two pool squares on opposite corners of the lot for the pond to show up fine. You can see this done on the picture of the pond above. I think it's also needed for sea water to show up fine on-lot.

Took me a minute to figure out the issue as well (I first tried without the pool squares, which results in the big dark holes. Just one square results in "laggy" reflections on-lot).

You likely also need to update all lots that have ponds. Lot imposters often need a lot update to show changes like this.

It doesn't work,I even put swim pools around the lot,but nothing happened. It looks well when I play in this lot,but in the hood or in other lots,it looks like this.

Are you using any lighting mods in addition (radiance mod or similar)? A few of those include this mod (or edits of it)

Are you making the ponds very deep? Have you tried with shallower ponds that don't reach the full size of the lot?

Do you have shaders turned on? (Necessary for the mod to work)
Do you have reflections turned on? (also necessary)

I have told that I use mm lighting, and my water mod is mm lighting edition.
I made the pond shallow, there is still a hole in lot imposter.
Shader and reflections have turned on,and this mod works well in lot,all the questions is about Lot imposters.
I don't know,Could you tell me what's your lot imposters like?Do they have influence like in the lot

Are you using the version of Voeille's water that came with the MM mod or the original by Voeille? I think Dreadpirate did some changes to make it work with the lighting mod. I've got the Radiance version of Dreadpirate's mod, but the MM version also has an edited version.

I've got these two files spesifically:
dreadpirate_shaderfixes_voeillehoodwater
dreadpirate_shaderfixes_voeillelotwater

Just make sure you don't use both the original version and Dreadpirate's version (Use Dreadpirate's version if any).
