I have Less Intrusive Sims by TURBODRIVER, which helps with phonecalls. But I'm looking for a mod that will stop, or at least reduce, sims around town just randomly chatting with my sim. I'm not really looking for Remove Sims From Conversations by thepancake1 cause I want to stop the conversation before it begins.

I'm kinda tired of going out in public and random sims "chatting" with my sim. I X out of the action, but it doesn't disappear and ends up going into my multitask bar anyway. Even if I manage to cancel it, the same (or another) sim will just start chatting again a second or so later. I usually have them doing something (sometimes with a time limit, like studying or doing homework before class, or going into the toilet before bladder failure or collecting things around the map - before you say manage your time 'tis just a minor example) and chatting slows down or outright stops what my sim's doing. Multiple times I queue something for my sim to do something, and they just STAND THERE because a random townie they never met decided to walk from across the map to talk or even wave at them.

I think if I could cancel it and it actually cancel and the townie doesn't automatically start talking with me again or a random group chat starts and keeps dragging my sim into it I wouldn't mind so much. I really can't tell if it's worse or not with the most recent updates, but my sim can't go anywhere in town without random townies bothering them. Regardless of fame level (or lack thereof, like fully quit the spotlight).

Thank y'all in advance for your help!!!! If nothing exists, that's fine. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything or a way to disable that. I play with autonomy off because of the jank, but obviously that doesn't include the non-played sims.
