This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default New PC can't handle mods from older laptop
I just switched to new gaming PC from a 6-year old laptop and moved my Mods folder (about 5,5gigs) from the old machine to the new one. Apparently, despite having much better specs than old laptop, my new PC can't handle as many mods <probably>

Old laptop specs:
- CPU: Intel i7-8750H
- 16 Gb RAM
- GPU: GeForce GTX1060 6 Gb VRAM
- Win 10

New PC specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5900X 6-core ; boost up to 5.4 GHz
- 32 Gb RAM
- GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 5070 Dual OC 12GB GDDR7 DLSS4
- Win 11 ( I HATE IT )

How does my problem look like? After I place all mods in my new PC's The sims 3 folder in My documents, the game crashes usually on initial loading screen ( right after video clip) or if it reaches main menu - on loading a save. with no error code, it just closes.

I thought it could be a problem with some CC/mods but it gets complicated here:
- adding more CC does not cause crash
- it seems like the problem is how many gameplay mods I put, after a certain number (doesnt matter type: core/scripting/etc) it just crashes. Because I was placing mods one by one, I initially thought I had a problem with Twinsimming's mods but now it seems like it's not related to any specific mod
- related to above: this way I can't pinpoint which mod is the problem as they all work in different combinations
- all mods are up-to-date
- delphy dashboard can't find corrupt or conflicting mods , some CC files are showing up as "confilct" between themselves but it's been like this for years and it's running on the laptop as usual
- in properties I enabled compatibility with win 8 (didn't change a thing )

I have all expansion packs and most stuff packs ( without Laty Perry, Diesel, 70s 80s 90s and Movie). The worlds I have: Riverwiev, Aurora Skies, Hidden springs, sunlit Tides, suvadiva resort, Legacy island III and my custom-made world.

The difference in installing sims on laptop and PC ? Sims 3 was installed while I still had access to Origin (later switched to EA App when I had to), PC had to use EA App to start with. Also sims 3 doesnt show up in my Nvidia App as it doesn't have TS3W , but after I researchded net it seems that EA App's sims 3 does not have this file to begin with, thus it won't show up in my Nvidia App.
I matched my GPU using steam step-by-step tutorial to boosting performance. But my CPU which is pretty good got rated " 1 " (worst) by the game.

Could it be problem with win 11? The game runs pretty smooth if I don't add one too many mods.
Or could it be related to low-ranking my CPU? What can be done if it's rated as one?
Worst thing is that my old laptop runs all these mods smooth as always while I can't get all of them on my new Pc....

Most important question - can anything be done to make new PC handle all mods and CC?

An immediate crash before the main menu is very often one of two things.
1) A mod missing a hard dependency.
2) A TS2 or TS4 .package was accidentally installed.

It could be that you have one or more files affected by the above, or when testing in batches dependencies are getting separated from their base mod, both of which would contribute to the crash seeming random because there isn't one culprit.
Some examples of hard dependencies are NRaas Cupcake (will crash if the Bakers Station isn't installed) and the Progression module for NRaas MasterController (will crash without NRaas StoryProgression). Other mods that depend on Store content tend to behave similarly, so you may want to set these aside for now.

A crash on loading the save usually has different causes, so it definitely sounds like there's more than one culprit here.
I'd suggest starting with a fresh user folder (drag and drop your The Sims 3 documents folder elsewhere, and a new one will generate on launch) and installing mods per author/type. Such as everything by NRaas, test, everything by Twinsimming, test, tuning mods, test. Leave all CC and custom worlds out for now, the fewer variables the better.

[Edit: I also found a link for you to get the CPU rating sorted out, here.]

Cardinal has been taken by a fey mood!

@MadzialenaxD

1) Check you mods folder, as said above, for TS2, TS4 or incompatible/conflicting mods with Sims 3 Dashboard .

2) Check if .NET Framework 3.5 is turned on in Control Panel > Programs and Components. If is not, turn it on because it's important for Sims 3 to run!

3) Install Visual C++ Redistributable packages from 2005 to the latest (both x86 and x64) if missing (important for other Sims 3 related programs).

4) Remove unused game mods or reduce their number!

@MadzialenaxD

If you’re using simler90’s Gameplay Core Mod together with NRaas mods, you should keep only one of them, either simler90’s mod or the NRaas mods, because they manage the same system resources.
I recently talked with another user about an issue with one of my mods. He also had these mods installed, and after he removed simler90’s mod, the problem was solved!

Thank you for Your suggestions, I'll check them out this weekend and will let you know if I got any good result. I do not have simler90's Gameplay Core mod , I use Nraas mods instead.

Yes, thank You guys Sorry for replying late but work sure keeps me busy sometimes.
After checking all mods' requirements one by one I found that my problem was missing two objects required for Twinsimming's mods to run I downloaded them and everything works good now.
