Default How to make object in Sims 2 autonomous for sims?
Sorry if I can't post this, first time posting here.

I'm new to Sims 2 modding. I want to make an object that is not autonomous for sims and have to made autonomously for sims to use. The object is the Runs with Scissors Playset by ADD. I know it's only use is for sims to run around and possibly get killed by it, but I'm playing the Asylum Challenge and I'd think it'd be interesting for sims to use it on their own. I've read tutorials on how to make objects autonomous for sims, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Is there a way to do this? If so, how? Thanks!

You need to open the TTAB resource, select the interaction and set Autonomy value to 0x32, possibly tick Visitor if you want visitors to do it. Now click on the Motives tab for that interaction and and enter motives. Usually fun is used when none of them seem fitting. Use values between 0x08 and 0x20 for min and delta, and experimentally find a balance where they do it at the right frequency with other objects to choose from as well. The meaning of type is unclear to me; enter 3 or 4. You need motive values for each age group. Make sure that in the guardian BHAV autonomy is not disallowed by comparing param 0 (if Arg Count > 0).
