Ive been having issues with my game; the Resource.cfg file wont let my game open/runs as a background process. When i take out the Resource.cfg file the game opens fine, but my mods & most of my CC dont show up in-game. I redownloaded a new Resource.cfg file the other day and it does the same thing. My mods & cc show up in the mod manager i use (S3MM) in both instances.
I know that the game needs the Resource.cfg file in order to recognize mods and cc, so im not sure what to do.
(Also, Sims3Dashboard does not show and cc or mods as corrupt)

I do not have any antivirus software on my device. I have also repaired the game several times and even uninstalled & reinstalled the game.

Could you show an image of your mods folder with the filetypes showing please?
