LOOOL these are so cool (appearance-wise) and (conceptually) clever !!! I will find an excuse to have the GTA dude in my own hood

I'd go as far as commi§§ioning you a Claude (GTA III) head (his skin as well, if his body does not look too janky in the Sims environment). Maybe the reason why he never speaks in the game is because Simlish is the only language he knows!

And, holy shit, you can attach Sims 1 CC to a post.?

Yes, you can in this section (Sims 1 items). Other games you'd need to go through the upload queue.

You can also attach images to the post (and embed them too), which I really love to do as some third party hosts (like Imgur) aren't available in some parts of the world. This is a good idea I think as the images will always be available, as long as the post is there. (Look back on some old threads to find missing images hosted on sites such as Photobucket and Tinypic).

Is that new? I feel like I tried to attach a zip to a post in this area once (I believe it was something I considered not yet ready for release in the 1998 beta thread but I don't remember) and it did not let me. (EDIT: Now that I think about it, I was probably trying to upload an iff rather than a zip. 🤔)

Thanks all! I've added another download to the OP, the original survivors from Left 4 Dead 1.

These were actually a lot of work compared to Tommy Vercetti. I wanted them to feel authentic so I painstakingly de-mastered them to match the original limitations of Sims 1.

Here's Bill:



The model has been reduced from 11464 tris to 1004, with textures scaled down from two 2024x2024 maps to two 256x256 maps. That's a reduction of over 90%.


You can also see I've removed some battle damage, pistol holsters, grunge etc from all of them, and brightened them up a bit to match their new world. (especially tedious and important for skin tones)

Yes, the Rayman is a child skin. Yes, his proportions look silly.
