I've created some lights that I will hopefully be able to upload on this site soon! Everything looks good so far but the only thing that bothers me is the excessive amount of glow that comes off the lights. I cloned the colonial wall lights and used that as the base mesh. I'm thinking maybe I should have cloned a different light but is there anything that somebody can suggest to turn down the glowy brightness?

If you're using TSRW there's a tool called 'Normals Editor' that can dictate how much glow the lamp can give off. Some lamps have high values, so try to set it way lower for a lesser glow.
