Adrian Monk (played by Tony Shaloub) has a unique style that's probably going to be hard to replicate. His wardrobe consists of several nearly identical brown sport coats, in the British 3-button model, which he buttons all the way up. This is worn over one of several nearly identical white checked shirts, which he also buttons all the way up, but does not wear with a tie. Brown or khaki creased trousers and brown Hush Puppie loafers complete the outfit. None of the fine details in terms of color or button count are mandatory here, but I would like to find a buttoned-up, tie-less outfit. Separates will work too; the pants will prove much easier to find, I think.

EDIT - in my scrolling through endless pages of Fanseelamb outfits and the like, I kind of forgot to just look in my existing clothes catalog. I think this might even be a Maxis item. The jacket's not buttoned, but the shirt collar is, and there's no tie - good enough for me. I'm calling this one solved, but if anyone happens to think of a better one, I'll gladly take a look, obviously.


The fireplace is completely unrelated, but the house where I was working this week had one, and I've always thought they were interesting. The style isn't too important, just the two-sidedness.
I already have the Highland Hearth, but that's 4-sided, and too dang big to fit in a modern type setting.
