Default Sim2Pack Clean Installer Issues
Hiya, I am using The Sims 2: Anniversary Edition on Steam.

I downloaded the Sim2Pack Clean Installer to install 2 mods:
- Lots of Lots - Mini residential lots
- Lots of Lots - Mini community lots

Using the installer utility, I click Browse to select the Downloads folder. I change the file to 'package' format. I installs without error.

Once launching the game, the custom content does not show on the modlist or in-game.

Troubleshooting: I deleted 'Groups.cache' as this was recommended.

What would you suggest?

Lots normally install themselves in the Teleport folder (random name, "teleport" file), and when you load up the game, they should automatically transfer (as package files) to the LotCatalog folder. I assume it's the same with these.

Lots don't show in the mod list. You have to check if they show up in the lot catalog.
You should not need to change the file type manually.

If your S2PCI configuration file (in the install folder for Clean Installer) is set up with the correct folder path for your game, it should install everything properly.

Should look roughly like this, but depends on where you've installed the game and whether the path is different (mine is for the UC, so I've just switched out a few things below, yours could be different)

SaveGamePath="C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy"

Thanks for your reply! Temporarily, I am using an ASUS laptop, whilst I am still sick. So I am away from my main desktop computer.

I did your suggested Clean Installer tweak and now the utility is pointing to the correct file directory, showing all my subfolders too! The lots show up in the Clean Installer too. I am not sure why they aren't appearing in-game, though.

Check the Teleport folder. If the files still hang out there after you've installed them and run the game, they haven't transferred. Try removing the Teleport files and installing again.

Make sure you're looking under "unoccupied lots", and not under the empty lot templates.
