I wanted to put a few small islands in a world I was creating. I originally just made them myself, but after the program crashed while saving I’ve lost them all because that version of the world is now corrupted. So, I used a method I found on google (I’ll link it at the end just in case but there’s not much to it that I’m not about to mention).

Essentially, the method was just going into Isla paradiso, unlocking all the hidden islands, saving the ones small enough to fit into one lot to the lot bin, and then placing them in whatever world you want. I placed them in a backup version of the world I’m making using EIG mode, and it’s worked just fine, but my issue is that I can’t edit the terrain at all.

I wanted to place a little more than 3 islands, but I don’t just want to copy and paste the same 3 without variation. If I try to edit the lot directly in EIG, it says the terrain is at maximum height. I can’t seem to do it from CAW itself, so I’m now a bit stuck. I’m not sure if it’s even possible to change the terrain in this situation, but the tutorial I read gave the impression it was. So I’m a little stuck. Help would be much appreciated, thank you!

Well, I haven’t found a way to do it, but in case anyone else wanted to do this, I have realised (or maybe remembered, since it seems quite obvious now) that simply changing the originals and then saving them to the lot bin as well works. Only problem is that it’s a bit more tedious, but it works so who cares.
