I'm a total noob with 0 experience in modding but foolishly confident that I can see it through with the proper guidance from those who have more experience than me to bring this idea to life!! 🫡

My goal is to make a disabled adult sim, I'm not looking for accessories that will make it *look* like they use a cane, I want to import the animation that comes with it. How would one go about doing this?

I'm currently collecting some resources that I have not read over yet, but I found tutorials of how to import sims 3/medieval animation to sims 2, converting objects to sims 2 and that walking styles are stacked over a sim, making then not a permanent change, which is fine by me if the only way I can make it work at the end is to enable it every time I load the game.

With ZERO KNOWLEDGE of how these mechanics works, I thought about that maybe it could be modded as an "occult", associating the status to the locomotion animation, like how zombies and ghosts walks differently, but idk if that is possible, There is a fairy mod that does something *similar* (to what point idk, but it's modded as a trait and it alters the walking animation) 😁

I'm literally willing to learn whatever from scratch and I'm 100% serious, so if anyone could shine some light in this topic, I'd be forever grateful!

I do plan to make it public!!! I was waiting a few days to see if anyone would reach out with any tips since I made similar posts to 3 different forums but welp, no luck.

Nevertheless, I'm still positive that it's possible and I even have something in mind on how to make it work, I'll try my last shot and reach out to modders on tumblr so wish me luck :3
