Default Edit in Game mode won’t work, I keep getting errors when I try and use it.
I was building a lot in Edit in game mode, then it crashed. After that, every time I have tried using it since, I have got different errors, and CAW has crashed. The sims 3 itself works fine, and so does My CAW world. It is just when I try to open it in EIG that it has problems.

The first error I got was “ The Sims 3 Create a World Tool - Beta has crashed!
Exception information:
Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.”

Then I turned off CAW and went back into it and opened my world. I tried EIG again, and then it gave me the error “ Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process ID=0x184c (6220), Thread ID=0xa25c (41564).
Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.”

I pressed “OK” then went back in again, and when I tried it that time, it said “The instruction at (an big number I can’t be arsed to write, please tell me if that’s important info) referenced memory at (another big number). The memory could not be written.

So I terminated it there, and finally stopped. I wanted to try shutting down the computer, but someone else has work on there that hasn’t been saved, and so I can’t. I don’t really know what any of this means or how to fix it, so help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe ask a moderstor to move this to the CAW section? The folks who do CAW, may or may not notice your post here.

Oh, alright. I thought this would be the correct place for it, I’ll admit I’m not very familiar with all the different sections on here. If you don’t mind me asking, how would I ask them to move it? Thank you for making me aware of that.

Honestly not sure either, but I tried sending a post report to the mods. I mentioned nothing bad about the post, just asked if they can move it.

Thank you so much for that. Hopefully it works.
