CAW routing lines crossing without intersecting; unconnected nodes
Hi worldbuilders. The world I've been working on seems to have a routing glitch. I am noticing routing lines that cross other routing lines but do not intersect (see picture). The lines in question are long and have turquoise nodes rather than white (what is the significance of that?). This is happening even on completely flat terrain with no objects nearby.

I am not sure if the non-intersecting lines are an issue. However, not long after these lines appeared I started getting individual turquoise nodes (not attached to any line) showing up randomly on flat ground, not near any objects. I can "remove" the unconnected nodes with unroutable terrain paint, but this causes many unconnected white nodes to appear in the area. Something seems wrong.

I have tried reverting to previous saves, but this problem reoccurs when I edit the routing anywhere on the map then press 'rebuild.' I have been working on the routing for a while, but never encountered this issue until tonight. I have tried clearing the CAW cache files.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that should be problematic; I see those turquoise nodes in my game, too. The random overlapping routes too. If you test the world, can sims route correctly?

Try to save the world under new name, clear the caches and hit the rebuild routing data inside the newly saved copy. Clean the Global Layer in the new copy - a great tutorial for this: https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=473791.

Otherwise there could be a road, sidewalk or other large object trapped underneath.
