Hi, I am a longtime lurker here. I decided it is time to join the community.

So a little bit about me. I am one of the longtime older Sims players. I started with Sims 1, I was in college when it came out. I wasn't going to get Sims 2 because, I had all of the Sims 1 and was satisfied with it. I only got Sims 2 because Open for Business came out and that is all I wished we could do in Sims 1 since they had all the food carts, the butter churner, and the preserve maker.

I purchased Sims 2 Double Deluxe and Open for Business (it was meant to be because they were the only two left on the shelf when I went to the shop.)
Anyway, for many years I played with only those packs and no cc/mods. It wasn't until I discovered some let's plays on YouTube in 2021 and saw all that I missed out on not having all the packs and not having custom content. Now, I'm addicted to CC (hahaha).

I also learned about rotational game play (I never played with the premades. Always made my own character). I was shocked at how many people played the premade sims. I also learned about the different challenges and about megahoods/uberhoods, and that people played long-term (I never played with babies and children; because in Sims 1, I had a child taken from me because she wouldn't study. So, I vowed never to play with children ever again. Hahaha). So, when I got Sims 2, I kept that same attitude. I also played with aging off, so my Sims never aged.

Last year, when I was laid off I decided to restart the game and I decided to play in a different way than I usually play. I am playing rotationally with the premades in Pleasantview with Downtown and Bluewater Village attached. I am enjoying the premades but I don't like the rotational gameplay. But, I am going to stick with it for as long as I can.

I am excited to be part of the community. I apologize for the long introduction.

Hello @Purple Dragon Nice to meet you at last! I didn't like rotational play much until I started doing really short rounds, just one day at each house then move on to the next. Kept my interest more!

Thank you for welcoming me to the forum. Thanks for the links, I will check them out.
As far a pictures go, I only take pictures with the in-game camera (when I remember), so they will be small and probably not viewable on the site. (I will test it and see).
