So, as said in the title, I want to either remove or replace the default TS4 skintones: they are ugly to me and I simply do not want to see them. There are a fair amount of other CAS hiders, but I haven't seen one for skintones? (at least not for TS4, I did see one for TS3.)

I'm futzing around with CmarNYC's Skininator because I can see that there is a default replacement option, but I cannot find a tutorial for it (I did see the tutorial for adding custom skintones, but that isn't what I'm trying to do.) So I'm just messing around to see if I can fumble my way toward something successful. I did also see a tutorial for replacing default skins, but it was from 2015 and (if I'm understanding correctly) there was at least one update circa 2020 that changed the way skintones were handled?

Should I be using a different program? Is this something I should be doing on S4S? Is there already a mod out there that hides EA's skintones and I just missed it when I was looking? Am I on the right track but lacking direction? Is it hopeless? Will I wear wigs? Let me know.

I can provide more information if needed, just was unsure what else would be relevant atm.
