Default Camera Spinning out of control
I'm running the ultimate collection. Anytime I open the game as soon as I press a button on the keyboard to open the cheat window the camera moves extremely quickly when I used the rotation controls. I also noticed when that happens if I go into Live mode free cam it just spins uncontrollably. I've been running the game for awhile and haven't had issues until today, the only thing I did differently was try out the Voielle Pond & Sea overhaul which I have since removed and am still having issues. I've run graphics rules, have 4GB patch, cracked exe., even tried removed my camera mod and it still happens. Genuinely at a loss. Do not think it is my mouse or anything external, as I have replaced the batteries in my mouse multiple times. I also tried using only my trackpad and still have the same issues. Looking for any suggestions.

I hope these are the right specs. If anything else is need please let me know.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS with Radeon Graphics (3.30 GHz)
Installed Ram: 16.0 GB (15.3 GB usable)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU (6 GB)
AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics (483 MB)

You might want to check if your antivirus program (or some other resource-heavy program, especially one that could interfere with game files) is running in the background. Possibly Windows updates or something like that, too.

The only times I've encountered this issue was back when I had Norton antivirus, and it usually happened if it was running a scan in the background (it happened several times, always the same thing). Just closing down the scan unfortunately didn't seem to help, so I usually had to do that plus restart the game, and the camera was back to normal.
(This was at least 10-15 years ago, though. I think I switched antivirus program on that computer because the bug got too annoying, and I've never used Norton again).

I mostly had the "spin uncontrollably" issues with the TAB camera (cameraman mode). The rest of the camera functions usually worked alright, though there were the occasional bug hiccough, like being overly sensitive.

I don't think I had any more out-of-control camera bugs (at least not similar to this) later.

There is potentially a key combo or single key that causes some camera bugs, because I've had the occasional "didn't look at the keyboard and hit the wrong key" where the camera bugged out a bit, but I think I managed to reset it somehow while still ingame. I have no idea what it was, and couldn't replicate it reliably (only on accident once in a while).

This happens to me when entering live mode occasionally, and it's not antivirus because without an internet connection on my gaming machine I didn't even install one. I don't know what it is, but the cure is simple: open the household story album, then close it, and everything'll settle down.

Remember, it only has to make sense to the computer, not to the user.

Ugly is in the heart of the beholder.

I checked to see if there was anything running in the background, as far as I can tell there isn't. It's almost like my mouse sensitivity is too high, but if I lower it nothing actually changes. Appreciate the response. Let me know if you have any other ideas.

I tested this as well, didn't see to make any changes. Appreciate the response let me know if you have any other thoughts. I will keep trying random things I'm sure something will work eventually.

I've had this happen too but only in game play. Not even sure what specific thing I did that triggered it, might be holding the > button for too long. But for me it always stops when pressing the other < / rotation button and I can just continue on playing. Never have it happen when opening the ctrl+shift+C bar, sorry
