Default WCIF Hobbit stuff
Hello,

I’m considering building a hobbit neighborhood. I’ve found the doors and windows, and I can use generic antique stuff for a lot of it, so I think build mode is pretty well covered. What I’m having trouble finding is the actual hobbits.

I have found Elves, Rangers, Gondorians, and even Ents, but the only hobbit clothing I’ve found is the “There and Back Again” set at Plumb Bob Keep. I seem to remember more hobbit specific stuff from when I first played Sims 2. Does anyone know where it disappeared to?

Thank you for your kind and well researched reply, but other than the houses this is not stuff for hobbits. The clothing is for elves and men, although I kind of wish Mirkwood Sims was still around because the had all but one slot on the clothing list. It sounds like they had a lot of Lord of the Rings stuff before they disappeared. There might have been some hobbit stuff mixed in.

Did you check their SFS folder? The files aren't labelled super clearly but it may have what you're looking for.

Maybe this door + window by princessbliss could be of interest? Unfortunately it doesn't let any light in, I want to fix that but haven't found any tutorial on how to do it sadly :-/

That one is a bit easier to recolor than the JWoods version because the texture doesn’t distort the shape of the door. ZeroDark did some recolors and included a PSD which is nice. They mentioned that you’re kind of stuck with the window due to the way it’s meshed, though.
