As above; you know how the neighbourhoods each have a little description to give them some story flavour? For some reason if I input one for my custom neighbourhood (new save, only one lot, no sims yet), go into the hood, then save and exit, the next time I click the hood to load it, that description has disappeared. Neighbourhood itself seems to be fine, would anyone know how to fix this?

Does it happen in other hoods or just this one?

Things I can think of to check- check you don't have One Drive, or an antivirus program, preventing the game from writing to the files. Also check in SimPE to see if the description is there- maybe it's a language issue somehow, or a UI mod?
