Default Disabling certain packs in CAW
Hello!

I'm planning to start a new world/project but before I got too deep into it I wanted to ask if theres any way to disable specific packs in CAW? My other builds weren't pack limited, but I'd like for this one to be, and mainly I want to disable them so I don't accidentally use something from a pack that prevents someone from downloading and to limit my freedom of choice (I think too many choices slow me down). In the past I've disabled packs (for example, World Adventures) through the registry using Sim Game Selector, but in CAW, items like the Wall Ruins still appear. The items don't appear in Edit in Game since that button opens the game itself with the disabled packs, but CAW appears to be its own separate thing. I'm on 1.67 if that matters, but is it even possible?

Thank you!

Disabling via SimGameSelect works on my end for CAW and SuperCAW - the latter still has some expansion debug items, as some of them are actually in the base game files, but everything else disappears.

Couldn't see any WA ruins on mine, so I'd double check that the pack is disabled + that there isn't any custom content installed containing data on those items.

To be thorough, you could probably rename the expansion folders at their install location - such as adding "(disabled)" to the folder name - so their files aren't found. But it shouldn't be necessary.

It worked! I have no idea why it didn't work a few weeks ago (maybe I messed up the extracting or forgot to save?) but it does now. Thanks! For some reason I didn't think to try again xP
