Hi! I don’t usually do much building because I’m not very good at it, but greenhouses have always been a real headache for me. I’m not sure if there are any available for the game (like mods or custom content—I really wish there were!), but sometimes, depending on the location, it’s impossible for me to add a roof, and then my plants end up dying in the winter. Could you tell me if it’s actually possible, or is it just that the way it’s built makes it impossible to add a roof there?

I think it needs to be one more tile away from the lot edge to place a roof on it.

Okay, I’ll give it a try. Sometimes it’s not positioned right next to the plot, which prevents me from adding a roof. I know there’s a trick for building outside the plot boundaries—I’ll see if I can find it and give it a go...

There is no trick to build outside lot boundaries. You would need to use Lot Adjuster to expand the lot, build, then shrink again.
