Some of my sims keep getting empty fears and wants pannels-it does the slot machine thing and then leaves it completely empty. Sometimes it comes back then vanishes again.

I don't know what it could be as the problem only started recently, when I haven't installed any new hacks. It only happens to particular sims, who otherwise have nothing in common.

Any ideas what it could be?

I had the same problem with a family of mine. One sim made it all the way through university, got married to a sim I created and moved into the house with them, had a kid (who I dunno looked odd >_> somehow he turned out darker than what I thought he should've XD) And then when the toddler grew up to a kid i kept playing the family, used makeup on the kid's face to make him resemble his parents better... and one day the wants and fears did the same thing. They were all blank, even my lifetime want was changed. Also the sim that went to college, lost his 3 extra wants =o The only hack that I -know- was installed was the cappucino machine one that fills up your stats / puts you in platinum mood... but I dunno how that got on there =/ So yeah it was interesting, after that I made a new family have many children, and a sim through uni, and everything's fine... so I dunno lol

Yeah! One of my unversity sims has lost her extra wants as well.

Lemmie see...I have the A+ memory hack, various bug fixes, that recololour thing, and a hack that lets females get pregnant after alien abduction.

Yes but Want/Fear refresh does not always work.

This thread was 11 years old - I think they probably found that out a while back.
