Now for my random picture, taken last night at downtown Veronaville's famous Gaia LGBT nightclub, when I was there on an outing with Andrew, Julian and Ravi Bertino (none of whom are in the picture):



Is Mrs. Crumplebottom mellowing in her old age? Why is she doing nothing about those dancers?

Come to think of it: what's she doing at an LGBT nightclub anyway?
I know for a fact she has been thinking about engagement recently. Has she got her eye on a nice girl? Maybe one of those three?

That would mean that in my game even Mrs. C. is gay!!?

I thought he looked like he was wearing work clothes, with oil stains and all. XD



I suspect that the game has been tricked by you reclassifying underwear as Everyday, so Mrs C doesn't think it's offensive lol.

My sims' boyfriends met in the middle of the night while they both delivered their respective dream date bouquets, and it reminded me of that meme from The Umbrella Academy

No, those dancers are really in their underwear. When Gaia first opened they had a few "Underwear Evenings", to attract interest. Those evenings proved so popular with the clientele, that underwear became the standard dress code at the club! At the time I took that picture, there were a lot more Sims upstairs in the restaurant, and nearly all the visitors there were also in their underwear. With so many in their undies, maybe Mrs. C. just gave up: she didn't feel up to the task of persuading them all to get dressed!

There was an amusing little incident in the restaurant a little earlier.

Andrew, Julian and Ravi were just finishing their meal in Gaia's restaurant, when Mrs. Crumplebottom arrived and started telling clubbers to get dressed. The three boys had arrived in their underwear, but Andrew and Ravi had got dressed after Ravi did a private dance for Andrew. Julian however was still in his skimpy undies -- the tiny white tie-side ones with a red love heart embroidered on the front. Mrs. C. did not approve of that, and she ordered him to get dressed. Having once seen her hitting Andrew with her infamous handbag, Julian promptly did as he was told! However the everyday outfit he changed into was if anything even more revealing than his undies! It's the bottom part of the outfit he got married in, and he's been wearing as his preferred Everyday outfit ever since the wedding! He even wears it to school and to church. It certainly doesn't leave much to the imagination!

The expression on Julian's face is a picture in itself. I think he resents being picked on while lots of other diners were still in skimpy undies, but he still knows he's put one over on the dreaded Mrs. Crumplebottom. And I'm sure he's bright enough to see the funny side of it.

Maybe that's the real reason why she's leaving those dancers alone -- she's afraid their everyday clothes will be even skimpier than their undies!

By the way @Charity, Andrew is wearing the new Deedee/SkittleSims shorts I was telling you about. I'll try and post some more pictures from that outing soon.

Yes, Ravi is the nearest of the three boys, in rather tight white shorts, but not as tight as the chair back makes them look. Ravi dresses to please his long-term steady boyfriend Jack Gill, who was on this outing at the start, but dropped out at Veronaville Market where they went first to buy provisions.

Andrew is the furthest away of the three boys, with his mop of blond hair.He likes his new shorts, and the jacket he bought to go with them. He says his legs are his best feature, and he's not going to hide them under long trousers!

Another boy has also bought a pair of those Deedee/SkittleSims shorts like Andrew's, but while Andrew bought a fairly conventional blue denim pair, Tommy Auld chose a more unusual yellow pair:





Tommy recently moved to the Strand in Monopolis (a Veronaville suburb) with his elderly parents Alastair and Anna Auld. Alastair is a retired sports coach, but Anna is still working in Fashion Design. "Auld" is the Scots word for "old", but it's also a fairly common surname.

P.S. It was only when I saw that first picture, that I realised that two sections of that wall had never been painted. (They've been painted now!) @Charity , I'm sure you'll recognize where Tommy's crop top came from!

Get poor Ravi a pair too. His current ones are awful.

Your wish is my command! Ravi bought a pair of those new shorts at the Comandgo Emporium on Thursday. He was with Jack and some other friends, and they went for a meal out at Londoste afterwards. Here he is arriving at Londoste:

Following behind him is Edgar Edwards, his newest boyfriend. Like everything else that is important to him, Ravi shares Edgar with Jack Gill, his steady boyfriend and the real love of his life. (The girl in the background -- but hard to ignore! -- wearing a Maxis tankini bottom is Brenda Durham. I originally intended to share those teen bikini bottoms here on MTS to complete Risé_sims's "Beach Babes" series, but the two people who were helping me, joandsarah77 and Maxon, both became queue moderators, which I felt made it difficult for me to submit them to the queue. Maybe I should have another look at them.)

And here finally is Ravi as you seldom see him -- taken a little earlier in the day. With his business suit on, Ravi is about to cycle to his business career job as an "Executive Assistant" for which he is paid §98 for a three-hour day. This job contributes very little to Jack and Ravi's income. Most of their funds come from the four money trees that they grow in their bedroom. For this reason Jack sometimes tries to persuade Ravi to give up his job, in the same way as he successfully persuaded him to stop going to school. Ravi however prefers to keep his part time job, as he feels it gives him at least a toehold in the "real world". He believes this is worthwhile, as he feels he's spending so much of the rest of his time living in Jack's fantasy world. "Jack's world is wonderful," he told me, "But it's good to get out of it for a few hours!"

I know Ravi sometimes suffers from "Imposter Syndrome" when he's wearing that suit. He doesn't really feel like a business executive of any sort, and he's not convinced that the suit makes him really look like one either. I remember seeing him in his suit at the wedding of Titania and Oberon Summerdream. He felt like a fish out of water in among all the "great and the good" of Veronaville's leading families. Rather than try to socialise with them at the garden buffet, he went into the kitchen, and sat there on his own eating a bag of crisps ["chips" to Americans] out of the fridge.

I really wanted to post this on Thursday, as soon as Ravi got home from Londoste, but I'm afraid I was just too tired!

One of the new families in my BACC hood spend an inordinate amount of time cuddling outdoors. They'll both be in the middle of something and then I blink and they're outside gazing at the sky. They have the most mundane conversations, and quite frankly it's rather adorable. My favourite couple, to be sure.

I found out that plantsim babies can try to catch fireflies! (Still not sure why he has black hair and not a flower hat, but he's a cutie so we'll just overlook that!)

He is gorgeous! All toddlers can chase fireflies or butterflies, it's adorable!

I'd never seen that before. I guess maybe it's because my toddlers usually have a bunch of toys whereas this guy only has a stuffed bear.

Evelyn Burb is being made into a naturist by her father. She is a yellow twin, and her sister is a red twin to tell them apart.

I approve of those shorts! Short enough to be sexy without showing butt cheeks or plumber's crack and a shirt that fits them nicely. I must dig out the post where they were linked to, because I forgot to download them.

I've always had a soft spot for Ravi. I don't think that Jack treats him well enough. And he looks very distinguished in his suit!
