Fantasia- One of My Two Favorite Singers

So I am steadily learning to recolor skins. YES, I am even learning to bring the shoulders up higher then you would imagine, and that it's REALLY hard to make the seems meet on an outfit! After doing a bunch of recolors, gathering some of the basics of home designing, learning to make paintings, floors, and wall papers (all with the easy Maxis methods- I still can't understand SimPE OR the tutorials to save my life lol!), I decided to try making my two favorite singers.
Now, I am the first to go into a thread (not to say anything but...) to see how the little thumbnail picture could possibly resemble the star it is supposed to be. However after thinking about it I realized that we all see differently. What I notice about someone, or the way I see someone may not be the way someone else sees them. So I decided to try and make both Whitney Houston and Fantasia Borrino. I worked on Whitney first. For HOURS and then a couple of days. It was no use. I CAN NOT make her and that's ok because I know someone else can, lol!
After a couple of hours of working on Fantasia, taking her into the game twice, back out to body shop, and back in again I turned up with a sim that resembled (to me) one of my favorite singers! So now I would like to share her here. Feel free to criticize, but only if you can explain what seems different to you, or why you don't like her. It would be really nice if you could give me some pointers if you create sims regularly.
I fell for Fantasia'svoice and her ability to perform during American Idol 2004. She's been through alot, come out on top and is smart enough to know it's by a great blessing that she has gotten as far as she has.
I hope that you will enjoy her. I have another post going up that includes outfits "SIMILAR" to ones that both Whitney and Fantasia have worn. I can't wait to get Nightlife so I can get her out there singing karaoke!
