Marcus Kane

Marcus is the introverted and slightly antisocial older brother of the game's central character, Lucas. Marcus was very close to his Christian mother before he lost both of his parents at the age of 18, and that relationship was undoubtedly a major influence on the path he chose to take in life, after he was through being a substitute parent for his younger brother.

When Marcus informed Lucas of his decision to become a priest, Lucas interpreted it as abandonment and reacted violently. The brothers separated, and for a long time Marcus felt guilty and selfish about his choice; but his desire to help people was stronger than his guilt.
