Hello everyone!

This lovely cottage was requested by catki86226, and when I saw the pictures I immediately fell in love with it! The house has such a nice atmosphere, and the surroundings are incredible!

I’ve tried to translate the building plans to a Sim styled house, while keeping in touch with the original appearance of it.

This lot comes with a sloped driveway, a basement (currently in use as a piano room), a terrace, and a lake. Should your Simmies feel like swimming, they can, it’s swimmable.

I love wild gardens, they look so beautiful. This house comes with a wild garden too, however because of game limitations, the gardener can’t always reach all the plants… this can be solved by either rearranging the garden or buying new plants and putting them in after the old ones have died. The two cheats used creating the garden are: moveObjects on and boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false.

The Cliff Terrain Paint: came with some of the houses I downloaded, and is made by –super-nengi65.

Because I felt like sticking with the original design, I’ve made a few recolors, they are included:

Atriums big and small window recolor, Federation Collection Column recolor, Simnuts101 One Tiled Door recolor, Maxis Balustrade recolor, Maxis Fence Recolor and 11 dots Window recolor, by me. ( I know…I got carried away...a bit…LOL)

The roof is also a Maxis recolor, it’s included within the .rar file, just put it in you downloads folder. It has it’s own registered guid, so it should be fine.

Feel free to use my recolors, but please give credit where it is due, link back to the original (mesh) threads and this one (recolors).
