Count Olaf is an Actor who takes the baudelaire children into his home to be their new guardian, while their he tries to marry Violet Baudelaire and flatten the kids with a train (film only), when the baudelaires are taken away from him, he swears revenge and follows them everywhere they go in search of their fortune. He is a master of disguise and uses silly costumes in his plans to get the fortune.
