Ok...let's see...after playing Sims 1 and 2 and building houses for my Sims to live in...I decided it was finally time to share one. So here's my first, and I hope you enjoy it.

Some background:

This house is recreated after a townhouse my best friend lived in while she was studying in Aix-en-Provence. It's probably not 100% accurate (maybe because I wasn't there) but I did my best to interpret the style and what it might have looked like.

The "talk-through":

The exterior of the house is decorated in a sunny yellow stucco and a terracotta clay tiled roof. The yard is protected by a high wall, and a classic-iron gate provides entry to the terrace.

The stone terrace features a calming fountain and a small wading pool (note: no ladders because the pool is kinda small, although if you really want to...). Another gate opens to the yard, and through the glass double doors is the house.

Upon entering the foyer, you will move forward into the living area, featuring country and Mission style furniture in a color scheme of blue and pine wood. On the left are two bedrooms: the front for two sims (the beds are singles, but you could make it a double), and the back for a single sim. The back bedroom has direct access to the bath, and both have access to the yard.

Continuing from the living room is the kitchen/dining area, featuring everything you need to make the perfect cuisine (um...Cooking points not included). The dining area features a bay window, perfect to enjoy the sunlight over breakfast.

Next to the kitchen is the bath and a closet (which is actualy supposed to be a laundry room, but the game has no washers/dryers, and my friend said there was no closet space anyway). Outside, the yard has seating on both sides of the house for afternoon relaxing and enjoying the flowers, while shaded by trees. On the side of the house is a driveway just big enough for one of those fancy compact-fuel efficient-hybrid cars everyone's been raving about. (Car is included but not shown in the pictures.)

The lot has been checked with Sims CleanInstaller. The house comes completely furnished and decorated with all in-game content (no custom content). You will require the Open for Business expansion pack. This "small but perfect" (as my friend called it) townhouse comes on a 3 X 2 sized lot. The keys are yours for under $83,000.

Enjoy!
