It is of course always a pleasure to offer something really wild to the community. And so, I present to you; New Twi’lek Headtails as requested by quite of few of you actually. Please allow me apologize for the wait, but I really had to take my time on this one. Allot of hard work went into making these meshes. I’m still kinda new at meshing/skinning. So I had to learn as I went along.

There are four variations of lekku that you can choose from if not all of them. This is of course for the purpose of diversity; I don’t always like to see the same look on every Sim. All variations are available to all ages ~ from toddler up to elder. So now you can make some *real* exotic Twi’leks for your game, or upload your re-colors.

And as such, what would an exotic Twi’lek be without her head crown? Maybe she would feel incomplete, “yes?” or maybe have a complex? Well, even though I really didn’t think I was gonna do it, I did ~ I created two head crowns that you can download & re-color for your own mods.

Keep checking this thread because I have a couple more crowns in the works.

Please feel free to re-color these meshes and add them to your newly uploaded Twi'lek(s) but please link back to this post so others can download the original mesh. In other words, please don't add these meshes along with your uploaded Sims. Also, please don't include any Sims that are using this/these mesh(es) in uploaded lot’s to any free site or pay site. Thank you.

Mesh Info:

All Lekku meshes here are “Skin tone” compliant. They will change to whatever color skin you select, be it maxis or user created and yes, that includes robot skins too.

Lekku Thin 1_A: This style of tails is based on Star Wars Episodes I, II, & III
The Twi’leks had thin tails as I’ve noticed. The tails on variation “1_A” hang down the back.
There are four meshes for variation 1_A:
Adult/Elder mesh: (Faces=350, Vertices=267)
Teen mesh: (faces=350, Vertices=267)
Child mesh: (faces=350, Vertices=281)
Toddler mesh: (faces=283, Vertices=323)
Movement of these tails flex with the body.

Lekku Thin 1_B: The Right tail wraps around the neck as suggested by a few while the left hangs down the back.
There are four meshes for variation 1_B:
Adult/Elder mesh (Faces=390, Vertices=431)
Teen mesh (Faces=392, Vertices=314)
Child Mesh (Faces=392, Vertices=437)
Toddler Mesh (Faces=283, Vertices=323)
Movement of these tails flex with the body.

Lekku Thick 1_A: This style of tails is based on the classic Star Wars “Return of the Jedi” It seemed that the tails were allot thicker from what I’ve noticed. One should never dance too close to a Twi’lek with tails like these, lest they get whipped pretty hard by them!!!
These tails hang down back.
There are four meshes for Lekku Thick 1_A:
Adult/Elder mesh (faces=350, Vertices=390)
Teen mesh (faces=350, Vertices=287)
Child mesh (faces=350, Vertices=239)
Toddler mesh (faces=350, Vertices=290)
Movement of these tails flex with the body.

Lekku Thick 1_B: As you know, some Twi’leks prefer to rest their tails over their front, especially during a photo opportunity, yes?
There are four meshes for Lekku Thick 1_B:
Adult/Elder mesh (faces=350, Vertices=273)
Teen mesh (faces=350, Vertices=273)
Child mesh (faces=350, Vertices=339)
Toddler mesh (faces=287, Vertices=290)
Movement of these tails flex with the body.

Twi’lek Dancer’s Crown Classic: This crown has just the *classic* Star Wars feel to it. You agree? It must be the ear caps.
There are two sizes of the Twi’lek Dancer’s Crown Classic:
Adult/Elder mesh (Faces=178, Vertices=130)
Teen mesh (faces=246, Vertices=188)

Twi’lek Dancer’s Crown Variant: This crown is based on Episode I. The Twi’leks on Tatooine wore what looked like a variation of the classic style with a larger crown jewel and without the caps leaving the ears partially exposed.
There are three sizes of the variant:
Adult/Elder mesh (Faces=348, Vertices=296)
Teen mesh (Faces=384, Vertices=333)
Child mesh (Faces=348, Vertices=296)

All meshes were created in Autodesk 3D Studio Max 8
All texture UV bitmaps were created in Photoshop.
All meshes, and UV bitmaps were imported/exported and incorporated into The Sims 2 using SimPE.

Skin tones that you see in the pics are not included.

As I said before: keep checking this thread for more crowns coming in the near future.
Have fun with these meshes. I can’t wait to see what you guys do with the re-colors, that’ll be interesting indeed!!

N’Joy.
