"In a mirror, darkly" (Different-colored eyes)

Hello again ^_^

I know, I know, I missed halloween! Please excuse the picture, I had planned to have this done till halloween and then... well. Life got in the way.

Anyways, I had always dreamed of making different colored eyes for my sims and finally, with mijutaro's wonderful mesh, I got a few descent looking eyes done. These eyes are accessories and can be found in the glasses section. Take a look:



On the right you see the five color combinations I made, on the left a few examples of the textures I made for these, since I had to give the textures a very high resolution to prevent them from coming out blurry.

I know in these pics the different colors of the eyes are a bit tough to make out, but I wanted at least one pair of these look more natural.

And remember: mijutaro's mesh covers the whole eyes! This means the eyes do not move! But since it covers both eyes, the sims don't squint. And most of the time you don't really see that the eyes don't move - beause during making and testing these eyes out, I realised that, let's say, 70 per cent of the time the sims move their head and not the eyes.
