A Little Past Starting Out



Have you ever noticed that there seem to be plenty of starter homes and plenty of lots for when your sims start raking in the dough, yet houses for when they've got a few kids to room and just a bit more money are scarce? This house is my solution. I've purposely used a floorplan that isn't too big, but has enough rooms to accommodate the children and has a family feel to it. It sits on a 2x3 lot.

I also like this house because the floorplan is done in a way that you could change the size of rooms easily by just moving one wall. You could also remove the half wall in the kitchen and use islands for eating if you wanted. The back porch is also just the right size for a grill and a table and chairs or some benches.

  • Unfurnished - 20,272
  • Frugaly Furnished - Approx. 27,000
  • Fully Furnished - Approx. 60,000

Please note that only the Unfurnished version is available for download. The others are approximations of after I furnished the house in the game to give you an idea of what your family needs to have to really afford the house. I do this because I know that I often tend to download a house for a specific family only to find that they can't afford to furnish it.
