La Belle de Ré: cute, French and simple starter home

L'Île de Ré (Ré Island) is a wonderful place on the Atlantic Coast of France, near the Harbour of La Rochelle.



It's very sandy, therefore its main productions are potatoes, natural salt and tourism.

It's the place to be seen in the summer, if you belong to the "gauche caviar" : wealthy, yet liberal intellectuals from Paris, former maoists or trotskists zealots of "Mai 68" now living on their stock-options, etc.

I, a poor pennyless student, like to spend some time there with my friends as well, though.




"La Belle de Ré" is a former farmworker's house, made into a nice and simple summer house.




Its sober and restful interior design makes the delight of "natural" Sims : organic food fans, veggies, "homegrown marijuana" smokers, or just stressed out Urban Sims in quest of peace and quietness.
