Welcome to my version of the Simland Cinema. I wanted to make a movie theatre that actually has all the levels of seats and can be an at home business for you sims. Of course only the bottom three rows and middle four seats are for movie watching and the sims will have to be fairly well off to begin with but it could make a nice retirement business and a nice addition to the neighbourhood.

The bottom level has the main part of the sim’s home with a bedroom, bath and cosy livingroom/kitchen/dining area. It also has the arcade and public washrooms with Inge Jones’ pay pinball and pay toilets. The doors to the two theatres are also simlogical pay/change clothes doors so you can charge the visiting sims when they enter or exit and the home and office have simlogical 4-key doors that keep out nosy neighbours. The ticket/concessions area has Exnem and Numenors great functional soda machine so the sims can get a drink.

The second floor has another viewing screen and more rooms for the family living area. The 3rd and 4th level are mostly just for seating but there is a small room in the back of each of the theatres.

As you can see in the picture, there are two screens in each theatre, one each for the first and second level so they will look a little funny. Make sure you go into the Options sections of the game, then click on the Graphics button, and make sure Object Hiding is set to off if you want to see objects on all the levels at once like in the pictures. *Important note: once the object hiding is off, you will be able to see the sims and objects from all levels so just remember, you must be on the same level the sim is on and click the correct screen on that level in order for them to be able to watch it. Otherwise they get frustrated or “jump” out of their seats. Also you might want to look into simlogical object like Auto Teleporter summon random sims to the lot and other mods that allow you to change the needs of the sims and to control the visiting sims would be helpful too.

Now for the custom content. Most of the objects are from Olemantiker who has kindly offer to let me to include them with this lot to make things simpler. The recolors are my own but most of them are based on olemantiker’s textures in order to make them match well.
