The default Sim eyes are quite harsh and cartoonish, perhaps a bit too much, and although there are many realistic eyes out there, I have yet to find a set that will suit my Sims.

I have made a set of soft eyes in 11 different shades that are hopefully just right. They are more gentle than the Sim eyes, with lightly shaded eye whites and more soft details on the eyes. They look great on many different skin colours too.

Here is how they look on a variety of different Sims.



As you can see some only have default Maxis skins, but others are wearing custom content including Louis #7 Skintone Lin's Edition (Light) from MTS2, and hair from the SAU (http://simsartistsunion.com).


Colours:
Here are the colours in the set, all the package files are named so you can delete any that you don't want after downloading.

I have selected a mix of natural and fantasy eye colours, so when your everyday Sims pop over to meet your fantasy Sims, their eyes are the same style and will match nicely.


Compatibility:
I hope you enjoy these eyes! I have Pets installed and only patched my game after making these so they won't work without Pets. If you desperately want them but you don't have Pets, you can download them and follow these instructions using SimPE.


Policy:
You may recolour or adjust them if you like (providing you credit and link back to me), but note that when extracting images from bodyshop the quality is reduced so if you plan to make a set, feel free to PM me for the .bmp image.
