Blitzball Career (Final Fantasy X)

This career track is based off of one found in the game Final Fantasy X.

While I was working away at my Yevonite career, I thought I ought to give Tidus and Wakka real Blitzball careers rather than resign them to the default "Athletic" one. I will say that I have no sporting knowledge whatsoever, so if the whole set-up of the blitz career is nonsense then that's why.

Again, you don't get paid for job level one, because seriously, you're just a fan. Pay is generally steadier in this than in the Yevonite career though, and the hours are shorter!

This career has less directly FFX related issues in the chance cards because the game really does not revolve around them being blitz stars and I had to make all this up, so they cater instead to a more sports celebrity situation, complete with scandal and heartbreak...ish.

Like my other career there are no custom costumes because the characters are inherently dressed in their blitz clothes in my game and there would be no point. Therefore, your sim will just wear whatever they have on that day to work.

Chance card opportunities range from rather banal situations (1st pic) to slightly more dramatic ones (2nd pic).
