Astrophysics Career

There are so many fantastic downloads here and the best way for me to say thanks would be to add to the fun. ...Unfortunately I'm not much of a programmer, or hacker, or model-maker ... but I am a writer! What's the most textual mod in the game? Careers!! So I started making several of them and finally completed my first one - Astrophysics. If you all like this one I'll post my Voodoo, Mechanical Engineer, Comic Book Author, and Singer/Songwriter careers, too.

*Important Stuff* - This career contains a custom icon (a comet!) and a unique GUID as well as being EP ready! Now, I'm a history major - ancient warfare to be precise - so the career levels were researched and I tried to be as accurate and realistic as possible, but some of them (Theoretical Theorist) are a little tongue-in-cheek. Let's just say this career is meant to be entertaining ^_^. All 10 levels have chance cards! This means you *can* get fired at level 10! I worked very, very hard on these cards so I really hope you enjoy reading them! The reward is the hydroponic garden .... because I've no idea how to do custom rewards ... otherwise I'd do some sort of telescope ... which makes more sense ... sorry! If anyone can help with this please tell me how to do it!

I love constructive criticism! If it is destructive, I will cry much - so please be kind and full of information! I've checked and re-checked my grammar and spelling, but if you find a mistake I will gladly fix it. In fact, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I didn't >.< Any errors at all, please tell me and I will try to correct them.

Congratulations! You graduated university and you've been promoted from an intern to an assistant. The good news: there's better pay. The bad news: you're still a glorified gofer ... although this time you know what you're doing! Keep working on your logic to make a move in the right direction.

2. Data Analyst

You're not just crunching numbers anymore, you're re-crunching other people's already-crunched numbers! Checking over the theoretical computations of the research team and their assistants is an important job. It's hard to balance good interpersonal skills with your analytical mind, but keep working on logic, mechanical, and charisma talents and you'll be up for promotion in no time!

I didn't want to post every description (play it and read the rest!), so I just did levels 1 and 2 for example. Here's the chance card for level 3 as an example:

Level 3 Chance: SETI rushes into the offices one afternoon and demands to take over your agency's famed x-ray observatory to further their research. The supervisor of the Extrasolar Astronomy department is on vacation in Bermuda and there's no one else with the clearance to approve SETI's temporary takeover. Do you go ahead and sign them in, or tell them they must come back next week when the supervisor returns?
