Pharmacy Career.
Language: English.
Uniforms: Only in levels 1-5 and 10
Payment: From 100$ - 1500$
Career Reward: SimSanto Inc. Biotech Station
As a description, it has 10 levels with chance cards. 2x Fail and 2x Success. Degrees are mostly custom made, but some of them actually exist. Friend requirements aren’t big, they are reasonable. In some cases, there are shifts, as in 8am – 2pm and 2pm - 8pm, so your sim has a chance to work morning to noon, or noon to evening. The schedule is also quite flexible, and some exhaust levels tend to lower along with degree advance. Mostly, your sim won’t work on weekends. Aspiring to become a pharmacist, I thought it might be a good idea to make a career in Sims. I hope you’ll like it.
There has been a slight update on one of the levels
Levels:
1. First Grader: You don't know much in this matter and you have to be very creative when preparing some mixtures, and you need logic when it comes to patient treatment, but stick to the other colleagues, and you are ready to go from the minute you got there. Hours: 8am - 2pm @ 100$
2. Pharmacy Assistant: (it is true, pharmacists and assistants are different, but I couldn't find another degree for starters): The work is not done yet. If you choose this path, there is a lot of work needed to reach the top, but the satisfactions are just as big. You will be an assistant now, you will watch over orders, and occasionally treat or sell medication.
Hours: 8am - 3pm @ 178$
3. Pharmacist: Your effort will be rewarded, and now the emphasis is more on solutions, and ingenuity. Try to tell people how to make their lives better with an advice, not only for the medication, but real life as well. Hours: 9am - 5pm @ 250$
4. Skilled Practitioner: You must continue helping others with advices, and medical knowledge on how to use or do some things. Focus on the patient's needs, and not on selling some drugs. Hours: 9am - 6pm @ 375$
5. Mixture Adept: Now, you have learned the fine and precise art of mixture. This gives you the opportunity not only to sell medication, but make your own things in the lab. It is all yours, and this can help you very much in healing others, with traditional mixtures made with roots, herbs and others, created to give the patients a view on this method of treatment. Hours: 7am - 2pm @ 490$
6. Pharmacy Intern : Update from Pharmacy Technician on request, since it gives your sim more responsibility: Things have changed from last job: You don't only get to make mixtures, sell medication, and make treatment, but you can also stay in charge of the pharmacy, and ensure that everything is normal until the end of the work day. Hours: 6am - 2pm @ 550$
7. Researcher: So, it's goodbye pharmacy and hello laboratory with tons of herbs, and places to research. Maybe, this way, you will be able to influence health in an even more positive way, as well. Hours: 9am - 4pm @ 790$
8. Primary Pharmacist: After researching, you find yourself at one of the top ranks in pharmacy. This requires more responsibility, and more training, for it is not easy once you got here. Healing treatment is taken to a whole new level. Hours: 2pm - 8pm @ 890$
9. Director: You've been promoted to director: This means mostly goodbye healing, and mixing and hello management and paperwork.
This way you can open your own pharmacy and be able to make it work, and work well. Hours: 2pm - 8pm @ 1000$
10. Doctor in Pharmacy: A new, 7 hour program is required for someone who is known to be a Doctor in Pharmacy. There isn't much to be done here for you have learned pretty much all about this matter in life: You can sell, heal, advice, mix, research and manage in a pharmacy, so there is only fair to be called an expert because this is the last reachable job level in pharmacy. With your skill levels up, you are unstoppable, in doing what you like most. Hours: 8am - 3pm @ 1500$
