Here it is; my first upload! A formal dress for your female teenage sims.
As you can see, the top of the dress is a lace-up corset with little diamond-like beads on the front. The lower half is a deep red skirt decorated with white lacy details and a satin-like ruffle.
How it was made
Only the ruffle is photo-skinned. For the corset, I used a pattern and added dark "borders" on the top and on the bottom of the corset. I made a little 'o' brush and drew on the strings for the lace-up part of the back. For the 'skirt', I pretty much just changed the color of the original dress to a deep red, and used brushes to add the lace details. The rest was just adding the little details, like the shadows and all that.
Sounds easy, but it did actually take me quite a bit of time !
Anyway, no mesh, no expansion pack are needed because it's actually a recolor of a mesh that came in the original game!
