This is a mod I created a while ago for open for buisness that makes selling to customers and gaining sales badges a bit harder.

My reason for creating this mod was that whenever my sims owned a shop I would have one sim constantly selling to customers and the customers always accepted, as a result they would gain customer loyalty stars and my sim would get a gold sales badge even if in general terms my buisness was rubbish and no-one even knew how to operate the till or restock items! I wanted to make it so that becoming a skilled salesman took a bit more effort and was more realistic

The changes in detail
  • Sales badges in general are harder to get. Sims gain sales badges faster if they have charisma skill, so it is worth training sims in charisma if you want them to be salesmen
  • The "basic sell" interation has been changed so that sims who are not outgoing will be less likely to accept and all sims will be less likely to accept from sims with no sales badge or just a bronze or silver badge. When sims do accept their customer loyalty is only increased a small amount (previously if you used basic sell 3-4 times the customer would gain a star, now it would take 10 times)
  • When sims are looking for help (when you can use "may I help you") they will start losing customer loyalty if you take your time getting to them
