I've written a brand new career for you to enjoy! It's the Historian Career for adults.
This career has 9 chance cards completed. This career will not overwrite any custom or Maxis careers because it has it's own unique GUID. This career is EP ready. I hope you enjoy it!
Here is an example of a chance card question:
Here is a run-down of all career levels:
1. Freelance Numismatic
wages: 120
days: Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun
As a Freelance Numismatic, you are a new studier of coins, currency, and cash. It's your job to scour the local antique shops searching for the best and rarest coins (in mint condition of course). The best coins are in the most obscure places, so you should really search the town for good dealers. Bear in mind, that some shops will take advantage of you, and try to offer you something that would not turn a larger profit for you. Even the unassuming "Mom and Pop" type shop owners can be cut-throat scam artists!
2. Cashier At Coinporium Antique Mall
wages: 168
days: Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun
As a cashier at the Coinporium Antique Mall, it's now your job to ring up customers interested in purchasing coins. You must know what you are talking about if they ask questions about the condition and property of the coins, so you must memorize everything about all the coins in the store, their mint release, their materials, and any history about them that is pertinent. A good way to be able to work with customers is to increase your charisma skill, and a good way to know what you are talking about is to increase your logic skill.
3. Librarian
wages: 182
days: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
As a librarian, you will be in charge of restocking bookshelves with returned books, and answering questions about the books. You will also be in charge of a history class that will be held at the library. The history class is mainly for elementary and middle school students, with a few high school students. Be sure to increase your film and literature enthusiasm before coming to work by reading novels at home, and watching televison.
4. Community Center History Teacher
wages: 242
days: Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun
You are a Community Center History Teacher. You will be teaching classes at the local Community Center on American History. Your students are mainly adults looking for enrichment, and college students looking to gain extra credit. Be sure to increase your logic skills, so that you will know what you are talking about when teaching the class.
5. High School History Teacher
wages: 308
days: Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun
The local High Shchool was so impressed with your work as a library History class teacher, and Community Center teacher that they decided to offer you a job as a High School history teacher. You will be enriching the minds of the students preparing for college. Logic, charisma, and creativity skills are a must in order to succeed in this crucial stage of your career.
6. Apraiser
wages: 469
days: Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun
As an apraiser, it's your job to travel with the antique road show. You will be putting a value to the antiques that people bring to the road show. You have a vast area of knowledge on the subject of history now, and you really know how to define the correct modern-day price of antiques. Most of the items up for apraisal date back as far as the late 17th Century, and come from all areas of the world. Be sure to increase your literature enthusiasm at home by reading novels.
7. Historical Author
wages: 812
days: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun
Does Abraham Lincolon's ghost still haunt The White House to this day? Why does his ghost haunt The White House? Why did the maker of Chocolate Clusters choose the name Chocolate Clusters? Whatever happened to Sim City in the roaring 90's? The answer to all of these questions and more will be answered by You in your new books on World History.
8. History Radio Show Host
wages: 1,208
days: Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun
You are now hosting the History radio talk show called History, Herstory, Simstory, and the roots of the past in Sim City. Youv'e gained a lot of knowledge on the subject of history to be able to provide intelligent answers to any callers with burning questions. You should have a firm understanding of social studies, and current events, as well as the past. You can increase your knowledge by watching the news at home, and gaining even more logic skill.

About Me
I'm officially, permanently retired from creating at MTS, however I do create for my own website TheNinthWaveSims.com. I no longer take requests. If you send me a request in pm, I will kindly decline. However, if you would like to make a request from another creator you may do so. Here are the links to The Sims 2 Creators who take requests and The Sims 3 Creators who take requests. Don't post in those threads, simply PM the creators who posted there. Don't steal my creations, other than that, do whatever you want.
I hope you enjoy all the downloads I've brought to you over the years. It's been fun. Being a part of The Sims community has had it's ups and downs for me, but I keep on truckin' nonetheless. Lots and lots of drama, lots of pain and sorrow, but lots of laughs, and good times too. Made so many new friends over the years, and it all started by uploading to MTS way back in 2006. Have fun with my creations, that's what they're here for!
