Sandstone House is my first in an intended series of houses built for a young family. Arriving at the house, Sims encounter a wide open driveway with fountain and pond. The covered porchway leads into an open entry hallway, which in turn provides access to a lounge with high windows and a light and airy music room, the open plan kitchen-diner, and lastly a small hallway with stiars to the second wall, behind which nestles a small bathroom and quiet study with a view onto the kitchen garden and small orchard.

Upstairs, the landing stretches the full depth of the house, with an overlook to the entry hall below. Leading off the hallway are three bedrooms and a communal bathroom. The master bedroom includes a walk-in wardrobe, an ensuite bathroom with his and hers sinks, and a small alcove with dressing table for the lady of the house. There is space to expand both up into a third floor and down into the basement, perhaps to add another bedroom, or another room for hobbies and entertainment.

Outside a small pool surrounded by flowers provides a fun place to play for the children next to the swing set. The small orchard and kitchen garden, once matured, provide ample produce to feed the family, and the small deck is a wonderful place to sit and watch the children play while enjoying hotdogs or ribs fresh from the bbq. The pond, fully stocked, offers both entertainment and high dining opportunity.
