There are already mods out there that change the locomotion used by zombie sims. However, they suffer from the drawback of requiring one to change the zombie sim's locomotion manually. This mod automatically makes zombie sims walk like normal sims (and run and skip and whatnot).

I've confirmed that it works for zombies created through the resurrect-o-nomitron, insimenator, and Pescado's zombie apocalypse mod. However, I've also found that it doesn't work for zombies created through treeag's sim transformer. So, your results may vary depending on how you're creating your zombies. But, the worst thing that could happen is that you would have to fall back on one of the manual methods of locomotion modification.
