The Patriotic Canadian tattoo pack.
*AMBITIONS TATTOOS! NOT ACCESSORIES! ENSURE YOU ARE PATCHED UP-TO-DATE*
I have created some wonderful tattoos, for the Canadian Sim, the Soldier Sim or the Sim-Who-Likes-Ink Sim.
10 Tattoos for the price of 0 tattoos!
Come with me and check them out:
Here I am sporting the latest in Sim-Tattoo achievements. Don't I look handsome? Ignore the mouth, that is the fault of the CAS default expression. My mouth does not look all long and angry.
Here is another angle. Yes kids, you too can look as suave and debonaire as I with the Canadian Patriot Tattoos Pack!
The Maple Leaf Link
The national symbol of Canada since the beginning of the 18th century. This one is "italicized" and stylish. Tattoo one on your chest with pride.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 1 channel + black borders
The Royal Coat of Arms of Canada Link
Known also as the Arms of Her Majesty in Right of Canada. This is the latest incarnation, dating from 1994.
It bears the supporters of the English Lion and the Scottish Unicorn and the mottos of Canada and the Order of Canada: A mari usque ad mare; desiderantes meliorem patriam. And the crest of the Lion (up top) symbolizes Canada's sovereignty. It's like the Royal Crest of the UK, but ours is waving a wee Maple Leaf. Yay, us.
The flags symbolize the duality of our nation with the English and the French.
The shield in the centre represents England, Scotland, Ireland, France and Canada.
I'm not sure what the other parts are, but Maple Leafs = Canada and I'm guessing Thistle is Scotland? A little research would be in order, but since you're not scoring me and a C is a Pass, I think I'm good.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 3 channels + black borders
the Canadian Forces Emblem Link
The NDA states that "The Canadian Forces are the armed forces of Her Majesty raised by Canada and consist of one Service called the Canadian Armed Forces."
This is the representation of the unification of the CF in 1968. The Army, Navy and Air Force. Also known as the Tri-Service badge. Or, the "Cornflake" when worn on an untrained soldier's beret. Most soldiers destroy their "cornflake" upon receiving their official Trade or Regimental cap badge. For example, newly trained gunners in the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery, have been known to load them into their gun barrels, blasting them into the training area.
Its still a lovely looking emblem, regardless of it's stigma and a symbol of the CF. Wear it with pride.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 3 channels + black borders
The Land Force Command Crest Link
Also known as The Canadian Army, Land Force Command represents the Army Operations of the CF. They're the ones in the dirt doing all of the hard work. Protecting the civilians and killing the enemy and that sort of thing. Soldierly stuff. There's no glory in it, but its honorable work. Crossed swords, symbol typically attributed to the infantry/army around the world. Maple Leaf, because its Canadian and they're pretty in the autumn. and it's blood red, representing the blood shed by Canadian Solders around the world in the name of peace and freedom and what-not. Read your history, its likely we're part of it.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 3 channels + black borders
The NATO Symbol Link
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization. "Getting involved since 1949." (not a true motto)
Originally, NATO consisted of countries that were actually along the northern Atlantic coasts. Except for Luxembourg, but they're so small, they kind of sneak in wherever unnoticed. After 1949, everyone wanted to be part of the cool, popular crowd. Brussels was knee-deep in application forms. I think Croatia was the last one we let through the door. There's probably a dozen former Warsaw-Pact countries in NATO now. I think it's officially time for a name-change.
But not a symbol change. I don't want to make another tattoo for it.
As for what this one symbolizes, I'm guessing a compass. To represent the fact that NATO now enCOMPASSES the globe. Australia, what are you waiting for? C'mon, everybody else is doing it, and a quarter of your population works in Canada at the ski resorts all winter.
Anyway, go NATO.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 2 Channels + black border
The Canadian Jump Wings Link
While the Canadian Airborne Regiment no longer exists, the CF still has jump-capable infantry battalions. These jump wings, worn normally on your dress uniform above your medals, represent your passing the jump course as a qualified jumper.
A red maple leaf represents qualified jumper, a white maple leaf represents a combat jump. Formerly, the Airborne Regiment also wore silver maple leafs to denote the soldier as a member of the Airborne Regt. A purple maple leaf means that the G in your RGB is dead.
Airborne soldiers often tattooed jump wings on various parts of their body. Hands, wrists, chests. Give your female sim a tramp stamp with a pink maple leaf. It's cool.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 1 Channel + black border/body
The Allied Mobile Forces Link
This was a small multinational immediate response unit in NATO. Created in 1960, disbanded in 2002. It didn't do much, and I'm pretty sure that something else replaced it. But the badge is cool and it took me a long time to make. I tried to scan my badge, but the outcome was less than spectacular. Your sim can wear it as they like, making the AMF stand for whatever their little sim-heart desires. Army Moms Forever, that sort of thing.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 3 Channels + black border
The Nautilus Link
This is not Military related, nor Canadiana. I took this from an X-Ray of a nautilus shell and was going to etch it onto the side of my aluminum case back in 2005. But then I got caught up in Half-Life 2. Then I moved. Then I got caught up in Battlefield 2. Then I said "Forget that nonsense, my case is sweet as it stands." plus I am lazy.
But I figured I have it sitting in my computer, why not try and turn it into a TS3 tattoo? So I did. Here it is. Enjoy.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. (Screenshot shows two re-colour examples on the shoulders: Yellow, Green) Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 1 Channel + black border
The Imperial Eagle Link
The Imperial Eagle. A heraldic symbol that many nations use and I thought looked really cool. This is one version of it that I have made. The original version only re-colours the outline, not the gradient, which looks very nice also, but it doesn't scale properly. So while I am trying to fix that (which may be never) I thought some people may enjoy the second version. I have much background information on the double-headed Imperial Eagle, but its late, I'm tired, its taking longer than I thought to type all of this out with one hand on the keyboard, and another holding a baby. And I have to work in the morning. So Google it or something if you're interested. If not, tattoo it onto your sim and make him the envy of all the town.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 3 Channels (blended) + 1 black border
The "Crest" Link
I have no official name for this crest. I made it quite some time ago. The white chevron was the symbol I began using for my aliases. And so I thought of making a modern crest to represent myself at that time in my life.
It has a skull, a claymore, the chevron (which has it's own heraldic meaning not just as I first intended) a gear and a saw blade with blood on it.
It looks cool as a tattoo. Use it, re-colour it to your taste, or don't install it. I spent a long time trying to get my original colour scheme working with the Ambitions tattoo system. So this is a) only a reasonable facsimile and b) not the easiest to re-colour the way you may want. But it's here, so enjoy it. I'm sure the other sims in town will.
Unisex, Teen to Elder, Re-colourable. Found in the Ambitions Tattoos area of the CAS. 3 Channels + 1 black border

Install Instructions
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
