So, it was like this. Feeling enthusiastic after great success of my previous recolors, I was pumped to upload more and more. Luckily, I had one of my best creations ready and waiting - ultra cool Serious Shorts (c). Not to lose a steam, I quickly chose three models to represent three ages I made this model for. I was ready to make quick photoshoot and be done with it but then sims started making one ridiculous face after another. Since I have no posemaking mods right now, I had to make a lot of screenshots just to get them standing normally! The process was heading in totally unexpected direction. I have never experienced such reckless sims in my life, and believe me, I`v got big simming experience. Maybe it has something to do with extremely nerdy personality traits I gave them all. Three nerdy disasters! 'There is something about it! -I thought - Lets make them present these shorts the way they want to!'
Thats how 'The Three Nerds' were born and they are ready to tell you everything about these shorts they were literally born in.
First, Bodyshop. These shorts are made from basegame pyjama mesh, recolored and categorized to look classic and mature. I made them for three ages, from teen to elder.
I thought that the cuff detail will make them look like 'pants-shorts' that are fashionable now. The belt adds retroness, although I can make the one without it if you want.
They look good with every kind of fabric or other material, which is also a big plus. Look at pictures below the post for details. The shorts have three recolorable channels - shorts themselves, the belt and the buckle. Believe me, these can solve all your problems everytime you need something both trendy and retro, sexy and conservative, boring and racy! Just add another fabric or color - and you can turn modest to hip and old to modern!
In other words...
I really hope you`ll like it.

This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
