SCREENSHOTS
So, there might be a pattern emerging here. There's lots of gorgeous makeup of all kinds out there, but almost all of it is too brash for my tastes. First it was subtle lipglosses, now I've gone and made simple eyeshadows. Next up will probably be eyeliner.
The long-haired model above is also wearing eyeliner. All other pics are taken with no other eye makeup. (Yes, it's actually the same model, shut up)
There's not a great deal to say about these. Just plain eyeshadow, limited to the top eyelid and staying well clear of eyebrows, bottom eyelids, ears, and the sim's backside. Eyeshadow which extends under the eye particularly annoys me, so I'm hopeful that there are at least a few other grumps like me out there who will enjoy these. The shadows have a bit of a gradient, and are slightly rough/sparkly, since I don't much like chalky makeup.
The eyeshadows come in 21 colours (yeah, yeah, I know, I can't help myself) - 10 bright colours, and 11 more muted tones. Three archives are attached, so you can download just the bright colours, just the muted colours, or both, if you like. The files are all labelled (with proper colour names, too! I did consider naming them things like "summer's day" and "fruit salad", but oh, the bad karma).
The filenames "Green" and "Green 2" are perhaps not terribly informative, though - Green is the slightly yellower green, seen to the right of Green 2 in the pics.
I broke with tradition and enabled these for guys and girls, aged teen and up. Usually I keep makeup out of the male bins, since I don't tend to put obvious makeup on my guys - but then, I don't put even non-obvious eyeshadow on my guys, so there's not much point in keeping that bin clear.
I owe thanks to bruno and CuriousB. I didn't use any parts of their textures, but I did take a look at them to give me some ideas regarding the alpha.
Additional Credits:
My model is wearing a skintone by HystericalParoxysm, eyes by -Shady-, and lipstick, eyebrows and hair (the long one) by Trapping. The short hair and the other lipgloss are my own work.
