Lil Green Bungalow: A Small Home For Your Sims

So, this is my very first upload here at MTS! I have for you today a small, starter bungalow that features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, a simple living room, nice kitchen and a small dining area. I decided to challenge myself by setting a budget of 20,000 simoleons for this house, and I'm happy to say I came in under budget. Therefore, this house is quite affordable for your sims.

This charming bungalow style home is perfect for a young couple, and has plenty of room to expand upwards with their family. It features an open floor plan, with a modest master bedroom and a modest bathroom. This lot costs 19,308 furnished with the 2 items from The Sims 3 Store and 13,238 unfurnished.


Here we have the outside, with simple landscaping of a couple trees and some hydrangeas. I wanted to keep the landscaping minimal so I wouldn't overpower the house. The green color was just one I stumbled upon in the create-a-style window and I quite liked it.


The bedroom, also in a calming green. I wanted to try to keep it gender neutral. Sorry if it ended up looking a bit more masculine than I meant to. XD


The living area. I must say, I really love the wallpaper in this room. And I apologize about the hydrangea glitch; no matter where I put them near the house, they wanted to poke through the walls. It doesn't interfere with gameplay, however, so no worries.


The layout is pretty stereotypical bungalow, with the entry opening into the living area and the bedroom being in the back.

There is some store items used, unfortuantely; however, if you don't have these, feel free to change the objects to ones you do have. The objects used are:
Hydrocombo Sink
Excessinator Stove

This house also features the TV from University Life.
