Frisii” Medieval Chain Mail Tunic - Recolor
This outfit shows up in the everyday, formal, athletic, and outerwear categories and thus requires Seasons.
Whether you’re a king or a peasant, the dark ages are dangerous time and you will need protection. This chain mail tunic offers just that. Inspired by Roman design but keeping it real with those Germanic pants and fabrics, this is the haute couture you’re looking for on the battlefield.
This tunic was inspired by depictions of different Germanic warriors from the times directly after the fall of the Roman Empire. Similar fashion seems to have developed everywhere near the Northern borders of the Roman empire. The statue “Charles Martel, Mayor of the Palace” by JB Debay Père can be seen wearing a similar dress.

About Me
So I'm Vincent, a dutch student from the lovely city of Rotterdam, I'm a student in two BA programms right now, one in literature and one in japanese.
My download policy right now is as follows:
When you upload or use my work please give credit, and only as long as it is for free.
Finally I'm working on a blog about one of my sims 2 neighborhoods. The blog, The end of an age, is named after its historical setting in times of turmoil. Of course change is also happening in the family life of those sims the blog follows. Right now Chapter 1 - The starry-eyed suitor is under way with its first part released. If you like historicized light fiction, or just plain old 'smut' in a historical setting this blog is for you, the challenges posed by the medieval setting are sure to stir up some drama - as if sims needed that anyway, so check it out!
Thanks for passing by, cya!
